Amaç ve Kapsam
Amasya Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Dergisi, öğrenme, öğretme ve değerlendirmeye yönelik araştırma yapan veya bu araştırmadan yararlanan herkes için çok disiplinli, açık erişimli ve hakemli bir dergidir. Öğrenmenin, öğretmenin ve öğretmenliğin kalitesini yükseltmeyi amaçlayan dergi, bu amaç doğrultusunda tüm eğitim disiplinlerinde/bağlamlarında yapılmış özgün teorik ve ampirik çalışmalara odaklanır. Akademisyenlerin, araştırmacıların ve eğitim politikasını belirleyenlerin ilgisini çeken araştırmaları yayınlamaya kendini adayan bu dergi, geniş kapsamıyla dünya çapında eğitimi ilgilendiren tüm konuların tartışılmasını sağlar.

Articles submitted to the journal are sent to at least two anonymous reviewers with blind refereeing after the initial editorial evaluation. Based on the reviews of the assigned referees, the final decision is made by the relevant editor. It is envisaged that the peer-review process will be completed in one month (four weeks) and the final decision on the manuscript will be notified to the authors at the end of two months (eight weeks) at the latest.
Format-free Submission
Our journal adopts the principle of "format-free submission". Authors can submit full-text articles in Turkish in any format or draft. However, APA 7 style should be used for in-text and end-text references used in the article. After the manuscript is accepted for publication, the format, or other details in accordance with the author guidelines will be requested from the authors. It is recommended that authors should review all author guidelines to avoid possible delays in the manuscript review process.
During article submission, submit the files listed below in the specified file formats:
(1) Full-text manuscript including author information (Author names, institutions, e-mail addresses, and ORCID addresses should be added)
(2) Anonymous manuscript from which the author information has been extracted (All personal identification information in the file content should be deleted together with the file properties.)
(3) Copyright transfer form (It should be prepared using the template provided by the journal and signed by all authors.
(4) Similarity report for the submitted manuscript in pdf file format obtained with a plagiarism software such as Turnitin or iThenticate.
(5) Official Ethical committee approval in pdf file format for the studies that require ethical approval from an institution.
If additional files required for the article are to be submitted, they should be submitted in the "Appendix" section of the full-text manuscripts.
Manuscript Structure
In this journal, full-text articles in Turkish along with an abstract in English are accepted. Although there are no strict rules during manuscript submission; manuscripts should be submitted in the following structure: Title, Abstract, Keywords, (English Title, Abstract, and Keywords) Main text (Introduction, Literature Review, Method, Results, Discussion/Conclusion), Acknowledgements, Ethics Declaration, References, and Appendices (if necessary). In addition to these, other parts necessary for the review of the manuscript can be added. In the "Methods" and " Ethics Declaration " sections of the article, the necessary information (name of the committee, approval date, and issue number) in the Ethics Committee Approval must be submitted.
Word Limit
A typical article to be submitted to this journal should not exceed 10000 words, including references, footnotes, and appendices. Articles above this word limit should be submitted with the justification. The Turkish and English abstracts of the articles should be between 150 and 200 words. Turkish and English Keywords should be 4 or 5.
Author Information
Author names, institutions, e-mail, and ORCID (The Open Researcher and Contributor ID - orcid.org) addresses of all authors should be specified. An author should be designated as the “corresponding author”. If any of the authors change institutions during the review process or there is a change in their contact information, the relevant institution or contact information should be changed before the publication stage. Institution and contact information in articles cannot be changed after publication.
Figures
Each figure should have a title and the titles should be represented by numeric numbers starting from Figure 1. Figures to be used in the article should be of high quality. Illustrations must be 1200dpi, grayscale figures 600dpi, and colored figures 300dpi. In addition to shapes created in Microsoft Word (doc or docx); Figures in EPS, PS, JPEG, and TIFF file formats are accepted. Each figure should be cited in the text.
Tables
Each Table should have a title and tables should be numbered numerically starting from Table 1. Tables must be editable. Each table should be cited in the text.
Equitation
Equations must be editable. Do not use equations that cannot be edited as pictures or in any other format.
Abbreviations
Abbreviations used in the text should be defined in the first usage and used consistently thereafter. Abbreviations should not be used in Turkish and English Abstracts.
References
References should be prepared according to the APA 7 style. Make sure that all the references used in the references list are also used in the text or that all the references used in the text are included in the references list. It is necessary to add a DOI or web address (link) for the articles used in the references list.
Appendices
For the submitted article, each author's contribution and contribution rate to the relevant manuscript, funds received for the reported research study, if any, acknowledgment, and conflict of interest statement for the study should be presented in the "Appendices" section at the end of the manuscript. In addition, additional information that should be submitted regarding the manuscript (whether the article was produced from a thesis, presented orally in any scientific event, prepared within the scope of a project, etc.) can be presented in this section.
Ethics Declaration
In this section, the author's declarations should be submitted that all the rules specified in the "Higher Education Institutions Scientific Research and Publication Ethics" regulations were complied with and that none of the actions specified under the heading "Actions Contrary to Scientific Research and Publication Ethics", which is the second part of the regulations, were carried out. In addition, the necessary information (name of the board, approval date, and issue number) in the Ethics Committee Approval for the research study presented in the manuscript should be presented in this section as well as the method section of the manuscript.
Copyright Transfer
The "Copyright Transfer Form”, which is presented to the authors in the form of a template during the manuscript submission process, must be signed and submitted by all authors.
Manuscript Format
For the manuscript format, please use the "Manuscript Template" offered by the journal. Pay attention to the following points while using the template:
• The texts in the manuscript should be in Arial font and 10-point size.
• Do not number the main and sub-headings. Only the first letters of the main and subheadings should be capitalized and aligned to the left. No more than a third-level title should be used. First-level headings should be in bold, second-level headings in bold and italic, and third-level headings in italics only. First-level titles should be 12 points, second-level titles should be 11 points, and third-level titles should be 10 points. For main and sub-headings, there should be 12 pt. space before the paragraph and 6 pt. space after the paragraph.
• The parts that are to be emphasized in the texts should be italicized.
• The margins of the paragraphs should not be indented, and the alignment of the paragraphs should be “justified”.
• Line spacing should be 1 (single) and 6 pt space should be left after each paragraph.
• Blank lines should not be used throughout the article.
• The margins should be 2.5 cm at the top, bottom, right, and left.
• Line spacing in tables should be 1 (single) and text size should be 8-10 points. Tables that will exceed one page can also be presented in the "Appendix" section of the manuscript, provided that they are cited in the text. The table width should be equal to the page width.
The manuscripts accepted by the journal are published as open access. No article submission, publication, or editing fee is requested in this journal. The article submission and publication process is completely free.
